Values

Values are how we judge our own behaviour, not other’s. When it comes to family, operating from a place of clear values is important to me. Here are the values that guide my work.

— Honour the family

It is an honour to do this work. My families feel heard, safe, and supported.

— Advise with care

Families and their businesses are unique — and complicated. We’ll move through conversations with intention and care to define direction and create alignment.

— Collaborate with Kindness

I don’t work alone. I have a history of working with your other family advisors (wealth, legal, accounting, executive team, board) to ensure everyone is on the same page and achieving their individual goals.

Gayla is one of those ultra-rare people who, after 30 seconds of meeting her, you feel you can share all of your thoughts, concerns and hopes with and truly feel that she not only understands completely...but truly and genuinely cares! I trust Gayla completely.
